Paul Garity is the former Partner-in-Charge of KPMG's National Corporate Real Estate Consulting. During his 22 years at KPMG in Los Angeles, he consulted on over 500 client engagements involving real estate developments, investments and operations. In 2002, he founded Real Estate Consulting Solutions, a firm specializing in Corporate Real Estate advisory services. At Capstan since 2007, Mr Garity has focused on organizational design, outsourcing strategy and process improvement for global corporations. He leads Capstan's development of outsourcing process improvements including Solution Sessions, contract benchmarking and transformation planning.
Mr. Garity has a Masters in Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, and passed both the California CPA and American Society of Appraisers exams. He serves on the Board of Directors of 211 Los Angeles, a not for profit information and referral agency for the underserved in Los Angeles County.
John Davis
John Davis has over 30 years of experience in corporate real estate, including executive positions at CB Richard Ellis and Bank of America. At CBRE he negotiated over 200 million square feet of outsourcing contracts and managed over 1,000 Corporate Solutions professionals involved in the fulfillment of transaction, project and facilities management contracts. As Senior Vice President of California Corporate Real Estate for Bank of America, he managed 22 million square feel of space. With Capstan, Mr. Davis has managed global outsourcing processes for the facilities management and transactions functions and integrated real estate solutions. He leads Capstan's development of contract negotiations strategies and training programs for client personnel in contract governance. He is a founding Board Member of CoreNet Global, a former Chairman of the Board at NACORE, a former President of the Institute for Corporate Real Estate, and a licensed architect.
Mr. Davis holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California. He currently serves on the Planning Commission in San Dimas, California.
Kent Wiegel
Kent Wiegel was the Senior Vice President in Charge of Corporate Properties at Washington Mutual Bank, where he worked for 22 years managing over 250 real estate professionals and 3,000 properties with 25 million square feet of space. With Capstan he has concentrated on sourcing strategy and outsourcing process management for banks, utilities, and non-profits. He leads Capstan's project management process improvement engagements, and developed our program management approach to transitioning clients to new service delivery platforms.
Mr. Wiegel is a past President of CoreNet Global in Washington and earned an MCR designation (Masters of Corporate Real Estate). He holds a CPA license in Washington and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
Sherri Parman
Sherri Parman has over 30 years of real estate experience as a chief financial officer, portfolio strategist and management consultant. Prior to joining Capstan in 2008, Ms. Parman was the CFO of CoreNet Global for five years. Previous positions included consulting management roles at Jones Lang LaSalle and CB Richard Ellis, where she focused on portfolio optimization and site selection. Ms. Parman focuses on improvement initiatives for corporate real estate departments, including outsourcing and process reengineering. Areas of expertise include portfolio strategy, portfolio management and finance. Ms. Parman serves on the Finance Committee of CoreNet Global, as an instructor in the MCR Finance program and on the Board of Directors of CoreNet's Atlanta Chapter.
Ms. Parman holds a California CPA license and an Executive MBA from UCLA in International Management and Finance.
